Microwave Testing

Every time a microwave oven is running, it produces radioactive energy. This energy by way of faulty door seals, loose hinges, general wear and tear, etc has the potential to penetrate human tissue which can be harmful to health.

Microwave leakage testing involves both visual inspection and measuring radiation levels around the oven with a microwave radiation leakage detector. Results are recorded and compared to safe limits stated in AS60335.2.25.
